Our sizes follow UK age ranges: newborn, 0–3m, 3–6m, 6–12m, 12–18m, 18–24m. If your baby is between sizes or growing fast, size up, the ribbed cotton has a bit of stretch, so there's some give either way.
All sizes do have built in scratch mittens and sole grips.

After the first month or so, most parents move to sleepsuits with two-way zips — but those first weeks are easier with a gown.
